The girlfriend of an Albion attempted murder suspect has been arrested for allegedly intimidating a witness.
Police say 40 year old Danielle Wray of Albion is charged with a felony for threatening a witness against her boyfriend, Wesley Askew.
Askew was arrested earlier this week and charged with assault and attempted murder. Authorities say Askew beat up on 53 year old Joseph Julyan causing life threatening head injuries.
At the time of his arrest, Albion Police said Askew and Julyan lived together.
Askew is behind bars held on a $250,000 bail.
Wray, the girlfriend, is in jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.

A Corfu woman is facing a slew of charges following a property damage accident on Sliker Road.
30 year old Angela Bodekor of Lake Road, Corfu, is charged with Drunk Driving following an accident last night.
Deputies say Bodekor also refused to take a breath test, had an open container of alcohol in her car and had left the scene of the accident.

Work continues on the transformation of the old J J Newberry Building downtown.
The site has just been recommended to be added to the list of designated historic places.
The site will also become home to the Batavia brewing Company, a micro- brewery, expected to open by the end of the year.
The project also includes seven apartments on the upper floors.
If the project receives the historic designation it will be eligible for preservation grants and tax breaks.

A new poll suggests that Buffalo businessman Carl Paladino may face some challenges if he plans on going against Governor Cuomo in next year's election. 
A Marist Poll released this week showed that Cuomo's approval rating among registered voters is the highest it's been in nearly three years. 
The poll pitted Cuomo against hypothetical Republican challengers like Paladino and gave Cuomo more than a 30-point lead. 
Still a majority of New Yorkers don't want Cuomo to run for president in 2020.

Former Buffalo Sabres star Phil Housley is coming back to coach the team.  The Sabres hired the hall of fame defenseman to guide the team after serving as an assistant for the Western Conference champion Nashville Predators.
