LeRoy Police make a child porn arrest.
21-year-old Stephen Smith of Elm Street has been charged with three felony counts for allegedly downloading and sharing internet videos depicting child pornography. LeRoy Police Detective John Condidorio said the 9-month long investigation also involved the State Police Computer Crimes Unit. Following arraignment on the felony charges, Smith was released into the custody of Genesee Justice.
A series of burglaries have occurred in local churches in Genesee County. Investigators now believe that the break-ins may be related to similar cases in Monroe County.
