A Town of Batavia man was injured when his Jeep ran off of Creek Rd., over turned and pinned him beneath the vehicle.
51-year-old Robert Woodhouse Jr., who lives near the accident scene, was northbound on Creek Road yesterday morning when, for an unknown reason, drove off the shoulder of the road, striking a mailbox and a utility pole. Woodhouse was ejected from the vehicle, which then came to rest on top of him.
Town of Batavia firemen rescued Woodhouse. Mercy Flight took him to ECMC for treatment. Deputies said it appeared Woodhouse was involved in two other minor accidents just prior to the serious crash.
Speed is being considered as a factor in the accident, according to investigators. Woodhouse, they said, was not wearing a seat belt.
