Ronald Wendt, 25 of Alexander, was sentenced in Genesee County Court this morning to a minimum prison term of 2 and a half years to a maximum of 7 and a half years for the death of a Dansville teenager last summer.
Wendt was convicted of Vehicular Homicide and DWI, among other lessor charges, for the death of Katie Stanley, 18, and injuries to three other young women in the car with her.
Authorities said Wendt pulled his pick-up truck into the path of a car driven by Rachel Enderle. Katie was a passenger in the car. The women were returning from a concert at Darien Lake.
Wendt admitted that he had been drinking beer during the day prior to the accident.
