CORRECTION MADE: Crime was committed on Elm Street
Tomorrow morning, Genesee County Court Judge Robert Noonan will hand down sentencing for a convicted arsonist who tried to kill his girlfriend’s father.
30-year-old Andre Scott of Rochester was found guilty of Attempted Murder back in August. Scott had been implicated in a fire on Elm Street in Batavia back in January, in which he poured gasoline down a flight of stairs and lit it on fire.
No one was injured in that blaze.
Andre Scott faces anywhere from 15 years in prison, to 25-to-life.
