There had been 12 jurors selected to hear the first Vehicular Homicide trial in Genesee County.
One member of the panel became ill this morning and left the courtroom.
Alternate jurors are still being chosen.
Opening statements are expected today.
On trial is 25-year-old Ronald Wendt Junior of Alexander.
Wendt was charged in connection with an August 2009 car crash that killed Dansville teenager Katie Stanley.
Katie was a passenger in a car with three friends returning from a Darien Lake Concert.
Their car was hit by Wendt’s pick-up truck. Wendt was charged with drunk driving and later, indicted for Aggravated Vehicular Homicide.
