One person was injured when a van struck a motorcycle at the intersection of Route 19 and the Thruway in the Town of LeRoy.
The accident happened late yesterday afternoon.
46-year-old Daniel McMurdy of Westside Drive in Rochester was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital after being ejected from his cycle and striking the windshield of the van.
The driver of the van, 53-year-old Michael Marmurek of North York Ontario Canada was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way.
A portion of State Route 237, between Routes 5 and 33, in the town of Stafford, will undergo re-construction beginning this morning.
Crews will mill and resurface the highway.
Only one lane of traffic will be allowed to pass at a time.
That’s Route 237 between 5 and 33 in Stafford.
Construction should be completed by the middle of next month.

27 year old Misael Rodriguez of Rochester was spotted by Darien Lake Security allegedly rolling a joint in the parking lot of the park. He was busted for possession of marijuana;
49 year old Lloyd Parons of Broadway Road in Darien was stopped on Broadway Road in Darien. He was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was also wanted on a warrant from Orleans County;
23 year old Daniel Ward of West State Street in Albion faces a pot possession charge after he was stopped for traffic violations on Route 98 in the Town of Batavia.
The Tom Petty concert at Darien Lake over the weekend was a busy night for security. More than 30 arrests were made at the show Saturday night. 28-year-old Adam Phillips of Brockport Allegedly punched a Genesee County Sheriff’s deputy in the face and now faces charges of assault, trespassing and resisting arrest.
A father and son from Lockport were busted for allegedly fighting with security guards and an Akron man allegedly threatened a deputy.
