A Batavia man is headed for prison after pleading guilty to possessing massive amounts of child pornography.
33-year-old Samuel Nigro has admitted in federal court that on December 8th, 2008, he downloaded over 52-hundred images and 113 videos of child pornography. Forensic analysis of Nigro’s computer revealed that fact to investigators.
The charge of Receiving Child Pornography carries a minimum sentence of 5 years in prison. Nigro could receive as much as 20 years in prison and 250-thousand dollars in fines.
Sentencing is set for November 16th.
