The Adultery charge placed against a Batavia woman following her arrest for having sex in a public park has been dropped.
Suzanne Corona appeared in City Court yesterday afternoon with her lawyer. As part of a plea deal, the 41-year-old Corona pled guilty to a charge of Public Lewdness, and Judge Michael Del Plato then dismissed adultery charge.
Corona will be sentenced on October 20. Her plea deal calls for no jail time.

Genesee County Legislators will let voters decide if legislative terms should be increased to 4 years.
County lawmakers voted 6 to 2 last night to place the issue on the November ballot.
Legislators Annie Lawrence of Corfu and Jay Grasso of LeRoy voted against the bill.
Several years ago, a similar measure to increase terms to four years was soundly defeated by voters.

Authorities in Livingston County have issued an alert for a missing woman.
50-year-old Joyce Vanmort of Springwater has been missing since Monday.
She was last seen Monday afternoon driving her 1998 Ford Mustang.
Deputies say Vanmort has threatened to harm herself.
Anyone with information about Joyce Vanmort is asked to call the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.

LeRoy Police are warning residents today about a mail scam.
A few LeRoy residents have received letters claiming they’ve won the lottery, or the Publisher’s Clearinghouse Sweepstakes.
The mail comes with a check for thousands of dollars.
The letter urges the unsuspecting “winner” to cash it and then send some money back, promising they’ll be receiving more money very soon.
The checks look real; some banks even cash them.
But a few weeks later, the checks come back – fraudulent.
LeRoy Police Detective John Condidorio says at least one person has been stung so far for $2,400..
Condidorio advises, if you receive such a mailing, and aren’t sure whether it’s a scam, call LeRoy Police before taking it to the bank.

Residents in the Orleans County town of Holley will be seeing a lot more of their neighbor. 
That's because 19-year-old Olivia "Paige" will take it all off as Playboy's Miss September. 
The issue hits newsstands on Friday. 
The teenager, who now uses a last name of "Paige" as a stage name, flew to Las Vegas to audition for Playboy and was offered a reality show and a chance to become a centerfold.
