Senator Charles Schumer is proposing legislation to encourage companies to bring outsourced jobs back to western New York.

Called the Bring Jobs Home Act, it would end tax breaks for companies with operations overseas. To reduce costs associated with moving operations to the U.S., it would also provide a 20 percent state tax credit.

To qualify to receive credits, a company has to increase its full-time U.S. employment from the previou year.
