Batavia Downs sets a Derby Day record for wagers.
Western Regional Off-Track Betting announced Saturday’s Kentucky Derby resulted in almost $2.2 million in wagers.
It beat the previous record for the system set in 2012 which was just over $2 million. Gaming totaled $26,000, a 30 percent increase from last year.
