New York State is employing a law firm to keep the Bills in Buffalo.

The Cuomo administration has hired Foley & Lardner LLP to design a plan to convince the next Bills ownership group to keep the team in Western New York. The package it’s charged with developing would show the owners potential sites for a new stadium in the region.

It’s reportedly a three-year, $350,000 contract.

The relocation fee if the Bills were to leave drops to $28 million in 2020 as part of the recent stadium lease agreement.

Really? We use tax payers $$ for upgrades and we have to pay to "keep" the team here?
