A Livingston County man admits that he shot his wife to death..
Gary Flemke pleaded guilty to murdering his wife and tampering with evidence.
The body of Marcia Flemke was found behind their Town of Hemlock home in the beginning of March. She had been shot multiple times.
Sentencing is July 1st.
The plea agreement calls for a 20-years-to-life sentence.
Flemke could have faced 25-years-to-life.
At the time of his arrest, lawmen said there had been a history of domestic violence involving the couple.

UPDATE:  7:45a.m. Batavia Police report Teshawn Lang-Smith has been located. Jordan Thomas remains missing.
Batavia Police are looking for two runaway teenagers.
15-year-old Jordan Thomas and 17-year-old Teshawn Lang-Smith are believed to still be in the local area.
Both were reported missing Monday.
The teenagers are described as African-American, between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-7 and 120 to 140 pounds. They have brown eyes and black hair. Teshawn has a tattoo of an anchor on his right forearm and one that says “family first” on his torso.


An Avon man is facing charges after a domestic violence incident.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says a woman reported that someone pointed a gun at her Sunday.
The suspect, 60-year-old Clifford Greer, left in the victim’s car before patrols arrived, but was found and arrested the next day.
Greer is locked up in lieu of $25,000 bail.

GCC has announced its commencement speaker for next month’s graduation.
He is State Senator George Maziarz.
He represents the 62nd State Senate District that includes Medina and Albion where GCC has satellite campuses.
The school’s 46th commencement exercises will be held on May 18th on the Batavia campus.

Standard and Poor's is downgrading the credit rating of Rochester General Hospital.  Concerns about Rochester General's proposed merger with Unity Health Systems are the reason for the downgrade from stable to negative. 
S-and-P says Rochester General is in strong financial position without the merger. 
However, they say the hospital will have a hard time absorbing Unity Health's 300-million-dollar debt load.
Batavia’s UMMC is in the midst of a merger with Rochester General.

More than 11,000 speeding tickets were handed out by law enforcement statewide during this month’s Speed Week.
The five-day Operation-Hang Up also resulted in more then 3,400 tickets for distracted driving, a 300 percent increase over last year.
