The Genesee County Economic Development Center Board approves two expansion projects for companies in Batavia at its April meeting.

The Ontario, Canada-based Mega Properties is planning a 20,000 square foot expansion to its facility at Gateway Corporate Park. Its tax exemption package is worth more than 190-thousand dollars while the company is investing $775,000. The GCEDC says it’s expected to create five-and-a-half full-time equivalent jobs in three years.

The Board also approved a $32,000 sales tax exemption for Premiere Credit in the City of Batavia as it plans a call center expansion. The company has pledged 25 additional jobs.
