Police say that was after 28-year-old Joseph Beszczynski IV lost consciousness, breaking his nose and at least one tooth.
He was charged with unlawful possession of toxic vapors, petit larceny and obstruction of governmental administration.
Beszczynski was taken to an unidentified hospital for a medical evaluation.
