Snow is coming in the middle of the week to the Western New York region and already forecasters are predicting an ugly Wednesday commute.

Various surrounding counties have been upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning but not Genesee County. We will be under a Winter Storm Watch for 24 hours starting at 10 p.m. tomorrow.

The National Weather Service is forecasting moderate to heavy snowfall of four to eight inches and poor visibility.

The National Weather Service classifies the forecaster confidence as “high.” There does, though, remain some uncertainty as to the exact track of the heaviest snow. A small change in the track could result in different expected accumulations.
