Expect more bitter wind chill through tomorrow morning.
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for Genesee County and Western New York through 10 a.m. Wednesday.
It forecasts wind chills as low as 25-below zero.
Wind Chills in double-digits closed Batavia City Schools, St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Batavia and Oakfield-Alabama Central Schools this morning.
Besides racking up snow days that could impact the school calendar, the freezing and snowy weather this week has also delayed make-up Regents exams. Those students will now have to wait until June to retake them.
