Local Congressman Chris Collins is holding a telephone town hall this afternoon to give Western New Yorkers a chance to speak out about the Common Core exam.

Collins says the standardized tests are a “one-size-fits-all approach” that “is effecting students and learning in the classroom.”

Collins says states were incentivized to implement Common Core by the federal government through grant stimulus money, and now parents, students, teachers and administrators are all concerned about testing regulations.

To participate: email Congressman Collins by visiting his website at chriscollins.house.gov/contact/email-me, enter your contact information and put "TELETOWNHALL" in the message subject line.
