The weekend will feel like much of the last couple weeks has: very, very cold.
The National Weather Service had upgraded its advisories for Genesee County and Western New York.
For 24 hours starting at 7 o’clock tonight, the area will be under a Winter Storm Warning.
It’s also posted a Wind Chill Advisory from midnight Saturday to noon Sunday. Wind chill will be as low as 20-below zero Saturday night and early Sunday.
NWS forecasts snow accumulations of three to six inches and winds from the southwest blowing at 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts of 45.
Travel conditions will be impacted due to the snow fall and also blowing snow with the wind.
