The frigid cold air is not expected to loosen its grip on Genesee County for several days to come.
The National Weather Service has posted a Winter Storm Advisory for Friday afternoon through Saturday evening. That’s in addition to a Wind Chill Advisory that is posted for 10 o’clock tonight and expires at noon tomorrow.
It forecasts two to four inches of snow, winds blowing between 20 and 30 miles per hour with wind chill values of 20-below zero.
Blowing snow and low visibility are also expected to cause travel problems.
