The LeRoy man who broke into a woman’s home and raped her at knifepoint was sentenced to 18 years in prison today in County Court.
Charles Johnson, 29, of Gilbert Street was also sentenced by Judge Robert Noonan to 25 years post-release supervision.
He pleaded guilty in November under the agreement he would serve no more than 18 years for the May break-in and rape. If he was convicted by jury trial, he would have faced a 10 to 25-year sentence.
