Genesee County Deputy Treasurer Matt Landers has been named Assistant County Manager.
Landers succeeds Frank Ciccia who retired nearly two years ago but stayed on the job until his replacement was found.
Landers begins his new job as number two man to County Manager Jay Gsell, on February 1st.
Gsell said Landers was chosen from a list of 61 potential candidates from acroJames Stackss the nation.
Landers will make $81,000 a year in his new job.

As Landers begins his new job, a replacement has been found for his old position.
County Treasurer Scott German has announced that James Stack will become the next deputy treasurer.
Stack is a resident of the Town of Batavia. He is currently an Operations Supervisor at Cardinal Logistics Management Corporation in Buffalo.
