The National Weather Service has issued two weather warnings for Genesee County.
The first is an Ice Storm Warning from 4 this afternoon until Noon tomorrow (Sunday)
Icing will vary considerably by location.
The most significant icing will be on trees, power lines and other elevated surfaces.
The ice build up could bring down tree limbs and power lines causing power outages.
The Ice Storm Warning has been posted for Genesee, Orleans and the northern portions of Erie County.
A Flood Warning has been issued for the Tonawanda Creek at Batavia.
The Flood Warning is in effect from early tomorrow morning until Monday afternoon.
The latest information shows the level of the Tonawanda Creek at 3 and a half feet , well within the normal range.
Flood stage is 9 ft.
The forecast rise in the level shows 11feet by Noon tomorrow…11 feet is considered a moderate flood stage.
