Democrat Marc Coppola of Tonawanda is in the race for State Senate.
Coppola kicked off his campaign last night at Batavia City Centre, surrounded by members of the Genesee County Democratic Committee. Coppola aims to run against Republican Mike Ranzenhofer for the Senate seat in the 61st District.
Coppola says it's time for change in Albany - and he knows how to do it. Coppola says New York needs to simplify the process for starting a small business.
He also wants to set a constitutional budget deadline to eliminate overdue budgets in the future.
