Two people are hospitalized after a car loses control on Route 63 in East Bethany and crosses over the double line.

The accident occurred at Ellicott Street Road and Fargo Road Wednesday at about 2:30 p.m. Officials say a 2011 Mercury driven by 86-year-old Isabel Cicero of Main Street, Leicester, was driving west on Route 63 coming up to a curve in the road, when her tires went off the south side of the highway.

That’s when the accident report says Cicero over-corrected and entered the other lane, causing a 2003 Ford driven by 40-year-old Aaron Titus of Wyoming Road, Wyoming, to strike the car.

Cicero was taken to Strong with shoulder and upper arm pain. Titus was sent to UMMC with complaints of head pain. Both were transported by ground ambulance.
