A date in court for Batavia's amorous picnic table couple.
Justin Amend and Suzanne Corona were both scheduled in Batavia City Court today. Both are charged with Public Lewdness. Corona is charged with Adultery as well, after the two allegedly had sex in a public park.
Corona appeared this afternoon with her lawyer, Brian Degnan of Batavia. This time, Corona did not make comments to the media.
Attorney Degnan spoke for her. He criticizes the Adultery charge, and says the media attention around the case has made Corona's life difficult.
Corona will re-appear in court on August 18th. She may accept a plea deal.
Justin Amend was scheduled for court this morning but did not appear. His lawyer was granted adjournment until the end of next month.
