Bail has been denied for a convicted sex offender now charged with molesting four children in Batavia over the last 20 years.
44-year-old Sean Vickers of Geneva will remain in the Genesee County Jail charged with predatory sexual assault against a child.
Judge Robert Noonan said Vickers was too great a risk to be allowed on bail because he is facing multiple life sentences.
Vickers is also being investigated in Niagara County for similar child molestation charges.
Local authorities say it's possible more victims of Vickers suspected abuse may be in the community. They are asked to come forward.
The Buffalo Sabres aren't wasting any time making changes following a disastrous start to the season. They have fired both general manager Darcy Regier and head coach Ron Rolston.
