Tomorrow is Election Day.

For Genesee County voters, it’s a mostly local election.
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
In the City of Batavia, three city council at-large candidates will be chosen from an unprecedented field of 9 candidates.
All nine members of the Genesee County Legislature will be elected.
District Attorney Lawrence Freidman and County Clerk Don Read are seeking new four year terms. Both are unopposed.
Every town in Genesee County has an election, but most races are uncontested.
WBTA will have complete live coverage of the election returns beginning at 9 tomorrow night, on-air and on-line.

A LeRoy man escaped serious injury but not a drunk driving charge when his pick-up truck ran off a highway in Stafford and into a creek.
67-year-old Dennis Randall of Keeney Road, LeRoy struck a sign and a guard rail on East Morganville Rd.last night before traveling down a steep embankment into the creek.
Randall was charged with DWI.
He was taken to Strong Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

A note for motorists in Stafford:
The Griswold Road Bridge over Black Creek has been reopened.
The bridge was closed last year due to its poor condition.
With a fist full of federal aid, the bridge was replaced.

Police in Brockport are investigating a deadly assault.  
Police say a fight started outside Rocco's bar on Clinton Street early yesterday morning that left Noel VanDom dead from a stab wound.  Officers have charged Thomas Bennett with second degree murder, and he's being held without bail at the Monroe County Jail.  
Neither of the men are students at the College at Brockport.

An NYU student who was trapped between a dorm and a parking garage for more than a day-and-a-half has been rescued.  It took firefighters 90-minutes to free the student on Sunday evening, who's been identified as Asher Vongtau.  The 19-year-old native of Nigeria was stuck in a two-foot gap between his dorm and the garage.  There's no word yet on how that happened, although fire officials say it's possible he fell from the roof or out a window.
