A pair of suspected Rochester bank robbers was arrested in Genesee County after their alleged getaway car crash on the thruway in Pembroke.
State Police spotted the wanted car yesterday afternoon heading west on the Thruway near Pembroke.
Troopers gave chase but the suspect vehicle crashed into the center median and the two inside, unhurt, were taken into custody. One has been identified as 32 year old Armond Thompson of Buffalo.
He and an accomplice are charged with robbing a bank in Irondequoit.
Election Day is Tuesday and time is running short for those who want an absentee ballot.
They are available at the Genesee County Board of Elections office.
The board will be open extended hours tonight until 7 and this Saturday from 9 until Noon.
The Board of Elections is located on the third floor of County Building One at 15 Main St.
Eastman Kodak returns to the New York Stock Exchange this Friday. Kodak's former stock was cancelled when the company emerged from Chapter Eleven bankruptcy protection.
The stock has been trading over the counter since then, with a price between 19 and 29 dollars a share.
The annual Halloween parade in LeRoy begins at 6 tomorrow night.
The parade begins at the Bank of Castile parking lot and proceeds to the LeRoy Fire Department.
