Genesee County’s drug take-back day this past Saturday netted strong results.
At the three sites – the Batavia and LeRoy Police Departments and the Pembroke Town Highway Barns – 527 pounds of unwanted prescription medications and hypodermic instruments were turned in.
The collected items head to the Buffalo D.E.A. for proper disposal.
Police officals thank the community for their responsible efforts regarding these potentially dangerous drugs.
