Batavia Police today continue efforts to track down a suspect in last month’s shooting on state St.
The suspect has been identified as 34-year-old Dashawn Butler.
Meanwhile, BPD says they have DNA evidence being analyzed that they hope swill lead them to a suspect in the Jackson St. shooting.
Police ask anyone with information to call their confidential tipline at 345-6370.
A Batavia man arrested for drunken driving following an accident in Stafford.
56-year-old Michael Dorigo of Buxton Ave., Batavia is charged with DWI after he allegedly failed to negotiate a curve on Fetch Rd., drove off the road and struck an old utility pole.
A passenger in Dorigo’s truck was taken to UMMC for treatment of a minor injury.
22-year-old Colton Cole of Warner Road, South Byron has
been arrested by Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies for DWI.
Deputies say Cole was stopped last night near the intersection of Route 237 and 262 in Byron, accelerating too quickly and squealing his tires.
Deputies said further investigation found that Colton was drinking in his truck and was drunk.
Gas prices are continuing a downward trend, nationally.
According to the latest Lundberg Survey, the lower cost of crude is driving the price down at the pump.
The national average is around $3.36 a gallon.
The lowest price in Batavia, according to gas-buddy-dot-com, is $3.71 and on the reservation, $3.45 a gallon.
