Sheriff's Office Investigating Vandalism in Stafford Park
The Genesee County Sheriff's Office is searching for vandals responsible for damaging three surveillance cameras at Emery Park in the Town of Stafford.
Recordings from the cameras show two white men in their early 20s using a BB or pellet gun to shoot the cameras and damage the surrounding area of the shelter at around 7 a.m.
The Sheriff’s Office says it will release photos from the video to better identify the suspects soon.
Anyone with knowledge of this vandalism is asked to call the Genesee County Sheriff's Office at 343-5000.
An Alexander man is arrested for allegedly stealing a large quantity of copper wire from a wind mill station in Wyoming County.

Todd Arnold, 44, of Broadway Road is charged with two counts of third degree grand larceny as well as second-degree criminal mischief – all felonies.
Arnold is currently incarcerated in the Genesee County Jail on unrelated charges. He was arraigned on the newest ones and re-committed to jail on an additional $150,000 bail.
The Woming County Sheriff’s Office offered a $1,000 reward in September for the arrest and conviction of a suspect for the theft of nearly 4,000 lbs. of large-diameter copper wire. Deputies said it was taken on three separate occasions since June. The Wind Farm Power Station on Centerline Road in Orangeville was under construction at the time of the thefts.
Arnold was charged with the theft following an investigation and assistance from the public.
GCC Cougarettes to Perform Prior to Bills Game
The Genesee Community College Cougarettes dance team will be performing tomorrow at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
The Cougarettes will take the field as part of the pregame show before the Buffalo Bills take on the Cincinnati Bengals at 1 p.m.
The pregame show will honor Breast Cancer Awareness, as October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. They will perform at approximately 12:45 p.m.
