The Genesee Country Farmers' Market is pleased to host "Ladies' Day at the Market" this Friday., Oct. 11 at the market's location in the Batavia Downs parking lot. The market opens at 8 a.m. with "Ladies' Day" activities starting at 10 a.m.
"The market and its vendors are planning an enjoyable day for the ladies," says market manager Mike Bakos. In addition to the usual Friday vendors, the market will be hosting local craft vendors as well as area district sales representatives -- gourmet kitchen items, handbags, pet grooming, etc.
"We hope this event will become an annual market tradition," says market president Bob Austen. "It's been great to see the ladies shopping at the market during the summer and this is our way of thanking them before the market closes for the season at the end of the month."
The Genesee Country farmers' Market is located in the Batavia Downs parking lot and is open for business Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. through the end of October featuring locally-grown produce and specialty items.
