More than 100 pairs of feet walked a 1.3 mile route to raise awareness of Domestic Violence.
The Stiletto Walk was held in Batavia last night.
State Senator Michael Ranzenhofer and Assemblyman Steve Hawley walked.
Some men managed to squeeze into high heels.
Proceeds from the walk will benefit domestic violence prevention programs at the YWCA.

YWCA executive director Jeanne Walton says via e-mail that "His mother had a traumatic DV experience when she was pregnant with him--pushed out of a moving car by the father and he was born two months premature a s a result. He has been exposed to DV throughout his life, but has found a way to live and cope and approach life positively. He tries to support DV events whenever he is aware that they are going on."
