The Rotary Club of Batavia served a record number of patrons Sunday at the club's annual Father's Day Fly-In breakfast.
Breakfast Co-Chairman Ed Leising said 1,550 breakfasts were served during the five hour event held at the Genesee County Airport.
Proceeds from the event support Rotary programs in Batavia and throughout the world. Over the past year, the Batavia Rotary Club has given away more than $100,000 to various charities. Locally, organizations that have benefited from Rotary, include: the ARC of Genesee County, United Memorial Medical Center, the YMCA and Genesee Community College.

Over 1,500 people were served during the five hour event.
