A Caledonia man is accused of choking his girlfriend, ripping her shirt and damaging a door during a domestic incident in LeRoy.
43-year-old Charles Sims is charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing and two counts of Criminal Mischief. Deputies say the alleged incident occurred on Friday near midnight on East Main Road.
Sims was jailed on $250 bail.
A Batavia man is facing charges after he was allegedly found walking in the middle of the road in two Wyoming County towns.
The Sheriff’s Office says 45-year-old Gregory Snyder of West Main Street was allegedly observed walking down the middle of Route 98 in Attica. There he was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
About 90 minutes later, Snyder was again found walking down the middle of Route 98, but this time in the Town of Bennington. He was additionally charged with Disorderly Conduct and Obstructing the Flow of Traffic.
He was transported to Attica and released to a sober third party, according to the sheriff’s office.
