The Genesee County Economic Development Center has passed a 2014 budget totaling $1.2 million.
Almost $1.1 million will be realized through grant revenue, sale and lease back fees, interest income and county funding. Another $175,000 in cash payments will be collected through project participation fee annuity streams.
The GCEDC says county funding helps with base-level operational funding.
The county legislature narrowly approved continued funding support to the GCEDC by a vote of 5-3 back in November. A taxpayer subsidy of $215,000 was approved for this year.
