Three people were injured in a crash in Pembroke yesterday after one driver told authorities she stopped at a stop sign and entered the intersection without seeing the approaching pick-up.
Troopers say the two-car crash occurred in Pembroke at about 4 p.m. Thursday in the middle of the intersection of Route 77 and Gabbey Road.
A car with four occupants driven by 31-year-old Melissa Siska of Akron came to a stop before entering the intersection, but told authorities she didn’t see oncoming car.
Melissa and Zachary Siska were taken to ECMC with complaints of head and back pain. The driver and sole occupant of the pick-up, 87-year-old George Lund of Alden complained of chest pain, but was treated at the scene.
Siska was issued a ticket for failure to yield right of way.
