A Pavilion man is accused of inappropriately touching a victim who was less than 17 years old.

David Jackson, 36, of Lake Road is charged with forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree sex abuse. The Sheriff’s Office says it allegedly occurred in the Town of Pavilion last Sunday.

A Batavia man has been jailed following an incident of domestic violence.

Batavia Police arrested 21-year-old Justin Cotter of Lehigh Avenue on charges of criminal obstruction of breathing, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.

Police said the incident occurred in a home on Liberty Street at around 3 this morning. Cotter was remanded to the Genesee County Jail on $10,000 bail.

A Genesee County Jail inmate is facing an aggravated harassment charge for allegedly throwing an object at a corrections officer.

Kyle Jackson, 21, of Slusser Road, Batavia, is accused of throwing a cup containing human excrement. He was issued an appearance ticket for Batavia City Court. Jackson was being held at the jail on unrelated charges.
