A Bergen man is charged with a felony count of assault and resisting arrest after he was allegedly caught with marijuana during a traffic stop.

Dave Case, 55, of Prole Road Extension is accused of causing injury to a police officer and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was pulled over at around a-quarter-to-2 this morning on West Main Street Road.

He’s scheduled to be arraigned today in Town of Batavia court.

That same traffic stop also leads to a felony DWI charge for the driver, a Clarence woman.

Denise Clamon, 32, is also facing four other charges including refusal to take a breath test and aggravated unlicensed operation.

Clamon was charged with felony drunk driving because police say she had a previous DWI conviction within the past 10 years.
