Business First of Buffalo has ranked all 133 high schools in Western New York. Batavia’s Notre Dame High School has come in at Number 9.
Driving Notre Dame’s high ranking is the science program, ranked Number One in Western New York.

Science teachers Sheri Girvin and Nancy Sedita say the students earned this one; Sedita says her students are even applying their science skills to real-world situations – like the Gulf oil spill.
This is the third consecutive year Notre Dame has been ranked in the Business First Top 10. The school also ranked fourth among all private high schools in the study, and first among all Western New York high schools, public or private, outside Erie County.
