A Batavia man is jailed on $10,000 bail for allegedly robbing Dollar General back in November.

The Batavia Police Department arrested 24-year-old Curtis Bailey of Jackson Street this morning. Officers say he entered the store on West Main Street on November 27 at about 6:45 where he presented a demand note to the store employee who he also threatened with harm. Police say no weapon was displayed and no weapon was recovered over the eight-month investigation.

Police say Bailey received a small amount of cash and fled the store on foot. He’s charged with robbery and petit larceny.
