Looking for some relief from the heat?
Wait at least another day.
The National Weather Service has posted a heat advisory for Genesee and Orleans Counties.
The advisory has been issued between the hours of Noon and 8 tonight.
The advisory warns of a heat index between 100 and 104 degrees.
The heat index factors temperature and humidity to arrive at a “real feel.”
There is also a Wind Advisory posted during the same hours.
Winds are forecast at 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts as high as 50.
