An eight-month investigation leads to the arrests of 13 people on drug charges and immigration violations.
The Major Felony Crime Task Force in Orleans County says the busts involve people from Rochester, Hamlin and Gaines in a case of cocaine distribution in the Albion area. Search warrants in those locations turned up cocaine, a rifle and drug paraphernalia.
All 13 have been arraigned. Those facing immigration charges are being held at the federal detention facility here in Batavia.
