Sloppy record storage at the Batavia and Buffalo V-A hospitals has prompted Congressman Chris Collins to call for the resignation of the Veteran’s Affairs Secretary.
Federal officials say thousands of patient records from Batavia and Buffalo have either been misplaced or damaged.

48-year-old Jerald Kicinski of East Bethany has pleaded guilty to federal charges that he received child porn, via the internet, and stored it on his home computer.
The U.S. Attorney’s office says Kicinski downloaded the kiddie-porn for an entire year beginning in December of 2010.
Kicinski was previously convicted, in two separate cases, of sexual abuse involving children.

Shawn Clark has resigned to take a job as an elementary principal with the Pittsford Central Schools.
Clark has been principal at Batavia High for the past year. He previously served as principal of Batavia’s Jackson Elementary.

The toy company has informed around 100 workers that they must choose whether to accept full relocation benefits to move to Mattel's headquarters in El Segunda. Employees who decide not to move will receive severance pay.
An Erie County woman is heading to prison for 15 years for a drunk driving crash last year that killed a baby.
Danielle Kellogg pleaded guilty in March to a charge of first degree manslaughter in the death of seven-month-old Baylee Marie Dion last November.
The baby was inside a car with her mother when Kellogg crashed into them on Southwest Boulevard in the town of Brant.
Kellogg received the maximum sentence.
