A 17-year-old already on probation is charged with a felony count of grand larceny for allegedly stealing an ATV.
Drake Johnson of Attica is accused of stealing an ATV from an address on Vernal Road in the Town of Middlebury. Troopers discovered the ATV in Warsaw where it was covered up to avoid detection.
Johnson was jailed on $5,000 bail.
An inmate at Attica Correctional Facility is charged with felony assault.
45-year-old Matthew Goforth allegedly used an edged metal weapon to attack another inmate last December which led to the victim needing 25 stitches to his face.
Goforth is currently serving a sentence for felony Criminal Sexual Act out of Erie County. He was returned to the custody of Department of Corrections Personnel and will answer to the latest charges in court at a later date.
A Warsaw mother is accused of leaving three children in the car with it running while she shopped at Tops.
30-year-old Deanna Lanni is charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Troopers say the children – one 7-year-old and two under age 2 – were left unattended for more than 15 minutes.
Lanni was issued an appearance ticket for Warsaw Town Court at a later date. Wyoming County Child Protective Services was contacted and will conduct an independent investigation.
A Geneseo woman is accused of stealing a man’s identity to pay for cable.
49-year-old Cynthia Rodriguez is charged with a felony count of identity theft. She allegedly used the information of a Pike man to open an account with Time Warner Cable for television service to her home. Troopers say about $1,000 was charged to the victim.
Rodriquez is due in court at a later date.
