A LeRoy teenager is facing a felony drug charge.

The LeRoy Police department is not identifying the 17-year-old who is charged with Criminal Sale of Marijuana, a class D felony.

The arrest stems from a complaint initiated during the evening hours of April 15 when another teen was found “highly impaired” on the grounds of LeRoy High School and needed to hospitalized.

The investigation revealed that the 17-year-old facing the charge supplied the teen who was found “highly impaired” with marijuana shortly after school let out.

The 17-year-old was arraigned and released under supervision of Genesee Justice.

UPDATE: The LeRoy Police Department says the defendant is Austin Nicometo of North Street. The charge is a felony because the other teen is under 18.
