A Batavia man has been charged with two felonies related to drunk driving.
36-year-old Maurice Leach of State Street is facing seven total charges including operating a motor vehicle without an interlock device, unlicensed operator and refusal to take a breath test. Leach was allegedly pulled over on Route 33 in Stafford. He is due in court Thursday.
A Castile man was jailed after an investigation by the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office into threatening text messages he sent to a woman.
25-year-old Joshua Russell is facing two counts of aggravated harassment and one count of coercion. The second charge of aggravated harassment stems from a threat Russell allegedly made on Sergeant Daniel Langdon’s life while being interviewed on the phone. Russell was committed to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bail pending a May court date.
A 21-year-old Warsaw man is accused of possessing three pounds of marijuana.
Richard Ryan has been charged with criminal possession of marijuana, a class D felony. Members of the Wyoming County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant back in October 2012.
Ryan was released and is due in court May 13.
