A Flood Watch will be in effect for all of Western New York, including Genesee County, starting at 7 tonight and ending 5 p.m. Friday. There is also a Freezing Rain Advisory in effect from 2 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday.

The National Weather Service in Buffalo says numerous waves of moderate to heavy rain will fall across the region and that runoff from the excessive rain of 2 to 3 inches could result in minor flooding. Small streams and creeks could also experience flooding.

As always, we have live and local radar on the front page of our website as well as weather reports every half hour on the air.
