A Batavia woman is accused of threatening bodily harm to another person at Tops on Friday.

Sarah Gioia, 20, of Pringle Avenue is charged with second-degree harassment. She was issued an appearance ticket and directed to appear in Batavia City Court tomorrow.


A Brockport man was arrested for drunk driving after his car became stuck in the lawn of a Naramore Drive residence yesterday.

Weston Johnson, 24, is facing three charges in connection to the incident which occurred just after 2:30 a.m. City police officers say he took a curve too fast and lost control of the car.

Johnson was jailed on $500 bail.


An Elba woman is accused of stealing almost $250-worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart last week.

Amanda Slack, 25, of Strouts Road, is charged with petit larceny. She was issued an appearance ticket for Batavia Town Court April 11.
